CB Equities has identified and remains hyper-focused on three primary investment markets poised for population and economic growth in the short, medium and long terms. Accordingly, we have established presences in each of these three markets: the Greater Boston Metro Area, the Charlotte Metropolitan Area, and Southeast Florida. CB Equities self-performs the property management of our investments via our affiliate company, Dartmouth Property Management.

Our target investment size is $15-$50M total capitalization. At this target investment size, we typically avoid competing with larger institutional players. Given the lack of institutional presence, we often find opportunities being sold by firms that hold the real estate as an incidental asset and undermanage accordingly.
product type
Given the collective team experience, we focus primarily on existing office and industrial opportunities. We constantly screen, both on and off-market, for properties with opportunity to add value in some way. At our core, we employ a “buy it, fix it, sell it” philosophy.
geography
Given population and economic trends, CB Equities has put boots on the ground and focuses on acquiring commercial properties in the Greater Boston Metro Area, the Charlotte Metro Area, and Southeast Florida.

We believe in the investments we acquire and invest significantly alongside our partners. Debt financing allows us to diversify our holdings and improve current and total returns. We strive to create long-term, repeat-business relationships with local and regional lenders and work to achieve balance in our capital stack by securing competitive financing terms at responsible leverage levels.

We employ a conservative underwriting philosophy that allows us to consistently deliver good news to our investors. Expected current and total returns must be attractive on a risk-adjusted basis and leave room for downside protection. Our track record of realized investments speaks to our ability to identify exceptional commercial real estate investment opportunities and execute on the business plan.
